How Will You Spend Your…

52 weeks. 365 days or from today, 361 days. A year. How will you spend this next year? How will you spend this first week in January? How will you spend January? Will it be conscious or unconscious?

Stephen Covey says that we should begin with the end in mind. So what do you want to Be, Do or Have in this next 52 weeks? What is the essence of what you want to experience?

For this first week consider the following two ideas:

1. Making Room –

Before we can really add something new to our lives we have to make room. Take a moment and sort through your daily routine and remove what no longer serves you – such as:

How much time do we spend on the phone listening to other people’s problems? Watching national news? Spending time with people who gossip, whine or make small talk? Playing games on Face Book?

Take a look at your calendar or track your time for a week? Does the time spent move you towards what you want to experience? Now is your chance to get out of the rut – out of those things that suck the life energy right out of you…..

2. Clarity, Passion and Purpose –

Hang out with those who inspire you to discover and commit to passion and purpose. Edwene Gaines is a woman of power and passion. She is also a woman who made a commitment to be 100% responsible for changing the way people think about prosperity and abundance in their lives. She lives her life traveling, leading workshops and retreats in service to that commitment. She has clarity, passion and purpose.

Find a way to connect to your passion. Life isn’t a dress rehearsal – let your YES be louder than your excuses. When you align with your Soul, with your heart of hearts – change happens.

Preparation is what makes the difference between having and not having. Will you take this first week and prepare for your life? Or will you let the January blah’s win?
