Being or Beeing

What do Being and Bees have in common?

Well… after doing a little snooping, I discovered Bees are the symbol of the Divine Feminine because they are ruled by Queens. Bees extract pollen and turn it into honey – gold for Bees. I suppose you could make the analogy that like bees, we could take from our many life experiences and extract our spiritual gold.

Honey represents sweetness – the sweetness of life. Bees busy themselves being productive. They do the job they came here to do. Their reward for their productivity is honey combs filled with sweet nectar.

April is the beginning of “bee” time in the valley. Farmers rent hives so that their orchards are pollinated. What seems like an exchange between farmers is really the opportunity for the bee to do the work they are on earth to do.

When you look at the design of the bee – short wings on a large body – they should not be able to fly. However the bee makes it work and does fly. The bee makes the impossible possible. Perhaps the Bee should be the reminder that we can accomplish anything we put our mind to.

So… I have added the Bee information to examine our own “Being.” I have not always been true to my own nature. Instead of answering the “inward” call, I have looked to others to tell me who I am supposed to BE. The result has been some very unhappy times in my life.

Our culture attempts to define success; marriage; love; work; rewards and even happiness based on unchallenged assumptions that have been handed down like worn out clothes. It is hard to go against the “shoulds” and yet, when we do we are rewarded with a sense of joy, happiness and peace.

My journey this year is to find freedom in becoming true to my nature. That includes discovering the essence of the Divine Feminine. I have had glimpses of what awaits.

Are you doing the work your Soul is calling you to do?

Have you discovered the essence of your feminine nature? Are you emulating your highest vision you have for your life and the legacy you want to leave?

Are you making the impossible possible but believing in your vision regardless of what the dream killers have to say?

As a Divine Cowgirl, it is your responsibility to claim you inner landscape and settle it. The early settlers faced their seeming hardships with resilience and grace. They lived in a state of hope even when hope wasn’t present. And that hope was what has made this country great. Bees are symbols of hope. I invite you to BE a symbol of hope. Turn away from the fear mongering and division and polarization. BE-come an alchemist – live the life you are to live. Bee. BE.

On the trails of life,

Very nice Lee Ann, yes and Bee’s take very small amounts of many things with multiple visits and affect many things we take for granted.

They are paramount in the production of agriculture and I was surprised to find that the Egyptians carried bees on barges to pollinate fields…

They create a substance that has multiple healing capabilities and yet we take them for granted. Or we try to eliminate them from our environments…

To the subject of Being, we must search in order to find out who we are and how we fit. I believe it is the process of searching that refines us. I could probably make some analogies, but I’ll let you do that.

I’m glad to see a post from you, I was about to call, I hadn’t heard a peep…and I was starting to wonder….

    Take care!

Love this post LeeAnn. I am blessed with a name that in Hebrew stands for “bee” and its many connections to industriousness and honey and gold and sweetness. I have loved knowing this for years!

Love that this blog and your work is taking form as it is…having been part of the early conceptions and dialogues.

    Love!
